Sedra

The Sedra are a reclusive race of humans wandering the galaxy who have latent but limited telepathic abilities whien they sleep. then they sleep, thier unconcious goes telepathic and can do either one of two things:

Communal State: Sedra can converse with other sleeping sedra in their dreamworld, or...
Acquisitive State: Sedra can "piggy back" conciousness onto another concious sedra and preceive what the other Sedra is percieving.

This makes Sedra very good spies. When they wake up, they remember what transpired in their dream state!

Sedra cannot be hypnotized. They are unpredictable when this is attempted or if it occurs. their telepathic powers momentarily augment and become highly defensive. This can be dangerously draining or mentally damaging to a Sedra in question...but it can turn out just as bad for the inquisitor of the Sedra, too!

Sedra are about as common as Papyra in this sector (which is very rare indeed). Their abilities are recessive, and immature Sedra are easily idenified by Sedra parents. Sedra, no matter how much they like thier dumb human brothers and sisters, will never fall in love with them because they only feel truly secure around other Sedra. This security is maintained as a galactic community, since like Papyrans, Sedra are saught to be used or killed by those who know of them.
