Name: Allan Hawk

Origin: URTH

Identity: Allan is a white male, trained in several mercenary arts. He was raised by Modoc native
Americans and holds many of their beliefs sacred, such as a faith in a good Nature deity and respect for
lesser animals. He blends this attitude with Zen-like patience and determination. He also carries the
weight of a hefty conscience and morality, and does not suffer oppression or mutilation of basic human
rights to exist in his presence. Allan is the kind of person that will readily go to bat for any victim of
injustice. He doesn't like the bloodier aspects of his career, but will unflinchingly kill anyone that he
thinks deserves to die. However, for all his work for the betterment of mankind, he is a loner and
doesn't appreciate much company, preferring to wander alone whenever he can and applying his skills
wherever he sees fit. He is six feet tall, with long reddish-brown hair and muddy eyes. His face is not
friendly--- a lifetime of hard knocks has left his smiling muscles sadly atrophied--- he has bushy, angry-looking eyebrows, a long straight nose, a sallow face with jutting cheekbones, and lips that are normally
twisted into a sneer or scowl.

Personal details: Allan holds a seat on the martial arts council in Korea, representing the art of Shinanju.
He also controls a martial arts academy, based on URTH's moon and dedicated to teaching his own
Hawk Style Kung Fu. At last reckoning, he has no known enemies, at least known to be living. Allan
has a good deal of poltical power as the only living teacher of Shinanju, but doesn't use it much. He has
a plethora of contacts from his stint as a Triconian "general" and commander of the Thrash Warriors.

Personal History: Hmm. Allan Hawk was born in '73 and led a basically uneventful life until 1989, the
year of the cataclysmic earthquake that shook the West Coast of URTH's America to pieces. At the
time of the quake, he was involved in a auto wreck somewhere in the Mojave Desert with several other
key figures in ROBO history. He was thrown free of the wreck and took a harsh blow to the head,
resulting in a heavy dose of amnesia. He wandered sporadically thoughout California, living like an
animal, speaking no language, hunting down animals of prey with his bare hands and crude tools. His
clothes rotted right off his body, and it was in such a state that one day, in Northern California, he
happened upon an Indian woman being menaced by a grizzly bear. Improbably enough, he drove the
bear away, using only his teeth and a broken branch. India Gray Bear took him to her home, where she
taught him about speaking Modoc and English, clothes, cooked food, and sex. The rest of her Modoc
tribe, who had quickly resumed their historical lifestyle in the wake of the federal government's decline,
forced him to undergo an Apache manhood rite--- suspended in the air for hours by hooks imbedded in
his flesh. He uttered not one whimper and was deemed a fit brave by the tribe. They taught him to
shoot a rifle, hunt men and animals, to move silently, and a score of other skills Allan would find
limitlessly useful in his later years. This went on until 1992, when the loosely organized confederacy of
West Coast tribes embarked on a raid against Seattle. Allan thought long and hard about this, and
decided he could not take part in the butchery of so many innocent people. He went south instead,
exiling himself from his adopted tribe. He quickly became involved in a series of battles against
marauding wasteland mobsters, allying himself with the largely defenseless people of his (unbeknownst
to Allan) native Southern California. He courageously and selflessly distinguished himself in several
battles, doing what he could to alleviate the people's dilemma. After a few months of this, Allan was
forcibly removed from California by certain wealthy sponsors of the wasteland gangs; he was shanghaied
into a plane and flown to a prison facility somewhere in New England. He was detained in this max-sec
hellhole for six months before he managed to locate sufficient weapons to stage a jailbreak with several
of his prisonmates. They escaped to Canada, where Allan began organizing a grass-roots campaign to
unite the shattered people of Quebec into a self-reliant nation. He had a good deal of success until the
spring of '94, when his so-called government was torn apart by rumors of Allan's communist tendencies.
He was compelled to leave Canada altogether, but before he did his last formal act as leader was to sign
over control of his holdings to Mike Sterling, commander of the Triconian forces in America. Mike
Sterling promptly quelled the rebellion and enlisted Allan, who had quite a reputation as a hard-core
gunfighter by this time. Allan became a military aide to Mike Sterling, which was a cover for Allan's
true role as Mike Sterling's personal assassin. Allan learned the finer aspects of fighting and mass battle,
and petitioned for his own fighting force. Soon Allan was commander of the Triconian Thrash
Warriors, a service of soldiers who quickly became the Triconian Empire's most effective shocktrooper
service.
Allan's new success and position did not last long. In 199_, the URTH was invaded by an alien
race of cyborgs known as the Armex. The Armex's sole purpose on URTH was to completely drain it
of all resources and life. Allan was present for the first battle against the Armex, where Mike Sterling
was killed. Allan managed to escape the Triconian rout alive, and retreated to the Modoc homelands,
which he found deserted. After a month or so of scrabbling for his survival, he met Iron Hand Fang, an
ancient Korean man. Allan discovered, after a series of misadventures with the old man, that Fang was a
master of an incredibly ancient martial art form known as Shinanju. Though Fang would not admit it,
he was impressed with Allan's natural abilities and determination. He told Allan that the Celestial
Emperor had ordained Allan to be Fang's successor as grand master of Shinanju. Allan didn't know
what to make of the Celestial Emperor's plans, but was more than willing to learn what Fang had to
teach him. He began a fourteen-year ordeal of training, in which Fang deprived him of alcohol,
cigarettes and every other vice Allan had come to take for granted. Fang's training transformed Allan
into one of the most formidable hand-to-hand fighters in history, on the level of Bruce Lee or Royce
Gracie.
Allan emerged from his training into a world ravaged by the Armex. The Triconian resistance
had managed, with the help of an explorer named Jel-O White and his Deathsmith technologies, to drive
the Armex back into their part of the galaxy. Allan, now older, harder and wiser than he had ever been.
He did not rejoin the Triconians; instead he found a wife, Valkyrie, and established an academy for his
Hawk Style Kung Fu on URTH's moon, and is still trying to retire from his past career at this writing.

Personal Possessions: Allan's most valuable asset to date is his moon base academy. There he maintains
a compact armory filled with Cav II and Golem power armor suits, body armor, hand-held weapons,
and a few space-capable vehicles. On his person he carries one longsword, forged from a meteoric alloy
and able to cut materials like thin metal. He also uses an antique Mark VII Beamer.

Skills: Mastery of three martial arts; mystic martial art disciplines (see below); swordsmanship; training
w/ all Triconian hand weapons; assassination; fluent Modoc, Spanish and Korean; basic mechanics;
hovercraft, atmosperic/space piloting; computer use; power armor training; weapons radio & navigation
systems; hunting; climbing; running and endurance; superior olfaction; skinning & cooking.

Allan's arcane skills are a matter of great speculation by those who know of his abilities. Allan
is able to project his spirit from his body and travel astrally. He also possesses inexplicable healing
powers. He is trained in Zanshin, or mystic awareness; he cannot be surprised by normal means. He
can release kiai energies with his voice: by yelling he can inflict four levels of damage on an opponent.
He is somehow able to make himself invisible in the minds of people around him, although mechanical
sensors and cameras can record him. He can decrease his body weight by 85% through intense
concentration, enabling tremendous leaps and allowing him to fall great distances with little to no harm.
He is able to project and shape lines of kinetic force, using this ability to inflict much greater damage
with a blow or deflect others' blows. He is further trained in Tamashiwara, which is the ability to
destroy hard substances like rock with his hands. He may possess other latent abilities as well, but none
have been documented yet.

Personal Dilemmas: Allan's life is a big chain of dilemmas; one that eats at him constantly is his remote
relationship with his son Stephen Hawk.

Kaijutsu: also known as Joshua Shout, this is the discipline of the kiai or "fierce yell." There are four different levels: force yell (knocks multiple opponents on their asses with kinetic force), stun yell (stuns one adversary), pain yell (inflicts multiple enemies with wracking head/earaches), and finally the death yell, which can sometimes kill an opponent, otherwise acts as stun yell.

Iaijutsu: speed draw for sword, Hawk has expanded with this into guns. Spiritual Projection: Hawk can discorporate his spirit from his body and astrally travel limitless distances through space at immeasurable speed. This does leave him defenseless in the physical aspect, since his body is completely comatose and vulnerable. Hawk can communicate while in this state, but only with great effort. He cannot make his spirit visible.

Four disciplines of Iron Fist (hand hardening exercises), Tamashiwara (art of breaking objects with single blows), Shi Jin and Chao Jin (methods of kinetically channeling spiritual energy into hard lines of force for striking, and generating curved arcs of force for blocking) give Hawk incredible power in unarmed combat. He is capable of crushing in a Cavalier armor's visor with one punch. Needless to say, he can kill damn near any unarmored enemy with these disciplines, andcan parry blows of immense strength from most hand-to-hand weapons. Art of Mystic Invisibility: Hawk is capable of mentally tampering with others' minds, very subtly, to erase his presence from their thoughts. A victim's eyes and ears will see and hear Hawk, but their minds cannot register his presence. This does not work with cameras and othersurveillance instruments.

Chi Gung: this is like that freaky Indian firewalking stuff, but better. Hawk's skin, with the influence of this discipline, is extraordinarily hard and fire-resistant. Fires of average heat are damn near harmless to him, and he is partially resistant to powerful heat sources like flamethrowers and cutting torches. His skin is also difficult to pierce with normal weapons, and blunt weapons do little damage when striking his body (excluding his head).

Karumijutsu: with this inexplicably mystic discipline, Hawk can reduce his body weight down to 15%. This enables him to leap incredible distances and heights, and also lets him fall great distances without getting killed. Chi Healing: Hawk can utilize Chi energy (his or others') to healinjuries at a vastly accelerated rate.
