Xarians
Pronounced: ZAIR-ians
The Xarians have been played occasionallyby Justin
Broadfoot, Mike Holsinger, Travis Hewitt and Jed Reynolds. This is way back
in about 1990-91. Let me see if I can pull up a file on them. I think
that Travis send me something Justin scribbled about them...ah, of course,
it was in a file named, sideburn.
Justin's Xarian Scheme
Note from Trav: Broadfoot wrote this here---
XARIAN EMPIRE SCHEME
Government:
Feudal Empire with one Anthraxarian to rule and conquor.
Resources:
The core of Charr I (Xarian homeworld) is
comprised almost solely of highly pressurised carbon.
Creating a highly valuable trading good (of course the only thing valuable to a Xarian are slaves and weapons.
Races:
Xarians come in two distinct forms. First, are the
weaker yet more plentiful "Drabs". Secomd, the noble classes
or "Metallix" which are far more powerful yet, propagate much
more slowly. One in every one hundred Drabs will be
a Metallix. The social and racial tensions run dangerously
high at ANY given time. Reasons for hostility are many
but none greater than the trading of Drabs by the nobles as
food or for services (or both), at the slave markets.
One final note: The Drab populace serve only as a tool to be
wielded as an axe by the Metallix. Also, Xarians are
cannabalistic preferring thier own kind for sustenance,
making the slave markets a kind of grocery store.
Tech. Level:
Four (folding)
