Ranking system: 1 General officer with staff of 5 naval commodores and 20 colonels, who each are responsible for a legion of shocktroopers. Captains lead divisions of 200 into combat; commodores command convoys assigned to them.

- 2 Atlas-class spacecraft supercarriers with 220 Pharaoh fighter-bombers each;

Troops: 20,000 legionnaires, naval personnel and technicians 8,700. 5,000 artillery and mecha crews. Weapons holdings: What kind of question is this? Every soldier in the Hawk army, even to the lowliest techie on a fleet garbage scow, is armed to the teeth.
Justification: The Legion simultaneously serves as both spine and right hand of the Hawk noble house. It is charged with defending all Hawk house investments and interests, while also is responsible for seeking out and eviscerating the enemies of the Hawk clan. Besides all this, the Royal Hawk Legion has a permanent and irrevocable contract with the Hawk house, which ensures the Legion will be in existence as long as there is a Hawk nobility.
Secret Operations: The Hawk clan is a hateful enemy of the Reynolds clan; their rivalry is as ancient as it is senseless. The Royal Hawk Legion constantly has its collective hands full carrying out the plots and schemes of Ragna Starhawk and Flagg Warstaff against Reynolds targets.
Dilemmas: As of 2041, the Royal Hawk Legion's future leadership has been compromised: Atlantis Starhawk, Ragna's 16-year old great-great-grandson and heir to the hereditary position of legion commander, has been kidnapped by Reynolds assassins and taken to an unknown planet somewhere in the Cyran Empire. This has Ragna in a serious fix, but the Reynolds have not yet demanded any ransom or given any demands.
Another serious problem on the Legion's hands is the new alliance between the Reynolds clan's secret service and the D'vorran mafia clan against the Legion. Several fringe Hawk outposts and facilities have been sabotaged and several key Hawk personnel have been murdered in the first weeks ofthis alliance.
